Dubai International Airport (DXB) has launched a new waiting lounge at Terminal 3 for passengers using Uber and Careem services upon arrival. The initiative aims to streamline the waiting and boarding process, providing more comfort at one of the world’s busiest airports.

Developed by Uber in collaboration with Dubai Airports, the lounge is part of efforts by the Dubai Civility Committee to maintain order, service quality, and the city's aesthetic standards. The new facility is located at the primary Uber and Careem pickup point in the Car Pickup area opposite Terminal 3.

The lounge is fully air-conditioned and equipped with high-efficiency air purifiers. It features ergonomic seating, dedicated workspaces, areas for large luggage, and high tables and chairs for passengers.

Multiple charging stations, including high-speed USB-C, USB-A, and standard power outlets, are available to ensure passengers can charge their mobile phones and other devices while they wait.

Dedicated lanes have been established for UberX and Careem Comfort users. This system utilizes a PIN-based process to better manage queues and reduce waiting times. Directional signage has been installed to guide passengers from the lounge to their specific pickup points.

Passengers arriving at Terminal 3 can proceed to the pickup area located opposite the terminal exit and enter the lounge through the designated entrance.

Officials from Uber and Dubai Airports stated that the project is designed to create a smoother experience after passengers exit the terminal, enhancing comfort during the final stage of their journey.
