Gold and silver prices in the UAE continue to decline
Gold and silver prices in the UAE declined during Friday's trading sessions. The drop followed selling pressure on precious metals in global markets, leading domestic rates to settle at lower levels compared to previous sessions.
The price of 24-karat gold reached approximately AED 496.75 per gram, slipping back below the AED 500 threshold. 22-karat gold was recorded at around AED 460.00, while silver prices fell to AED 7.53 per gram.
These shifts occurred alongside a global downturn in precious metals, influenced by financial market volatility, investor sentiment regarding safe-haven assets, and profit-taking activities within investment portfolios.
