Dubai property transactions exceed AED 14 billion in one week
Dubai’s property market recorded more than AED 14.05 billion in transactions last week. According to data from the Dubai REST app, operated by the Dubai Land Department, the total came from 3,705 sales, mortgage and property gift transactions.
Sales transactions reached AED 6.71 billion across 2,456 deals. These included 2,095 residential unit transactions, 175 building transactions and 186 land transactions.
Ready properties accounted for the largest share of sales by value, with 867 transactions worth AED 3.59 billion. Meanwhile, off-plan and under-construction properties led by volume, recording 1,589 transactions valued at about AED 3.12 billion.
During the same period, 1,079 mortgage transactions worth AED 6.2 billion were registered. A further 170 property gift or no-cost transfer transactions, valued at approximately AED 1.13 billion, were also completed.
Business Bay topped Dubai’s areas by sales value, recording more than AED 385 million. It was followed by Madinat Al Mataar at AED 261.9 million, Al Yufrah 1 at AED 259.19 million, Al Hebiah 1 at AED 227.86 million and Dubai Hills at AED 216.71 million.
Jumeirah Village Circle, Al Quoz Industrial 3, Al Khairan 1, Al Hebiah 4 and Palm Jumeirah also featured among the 10 areas with the highest sales transaction values during the week.
