Emaar has officially reopened the Burj Khalifa Open Call, inviting artists, designers, and creatives in the UAE and across the globe to submit their concepts for a new visual display on Dubai's iconic landmark.
The winning design will be featured on the exterior of the Burj Khalifa, offering an artist the chance to present their work to millions of spectators.
What is the Burj Khalifa Open Call?
The competition is seeking an original three-minute audiovisual display that reflects the creativity, innovation, and artistic spirit of Dubai.
The selected piece will be projected onto the Burj Khalifa, one of the city's most recognizable symbols, providing the winner with a global platform for their work.
When is the submission deadline?
Registration is now open, and submissions will be accepted until Tuesday, August 18, 2026. The deadline for submission is 11:59 PM.
What do you need to submit to enter?
Artists are required to submit the following:
A three-minute preview video in MP4 format
A final high-quality file in MOV format, if selected
Copyright-free music for the display
A separate audio file
A short written description, maximum 300 words, explaining the concept and inspiration behind the design
Emaar has also provided a downloadable template and technical guidelines to assist applicants in preparing their entries.
