Dubai will host a 10-day festival celebrating South Korean culture this month, with events taking place across the city.

Dubai K-Fest will begin on Friday, September 25, and run until Sunday, October 4. The event will showcase various aspects of Korean culture, including music, television series, food, beauty products and entertainment.

Throughout the festival, venues across Dubai will offer live entertainment, opportunities to shop and win prizes, special promotions, pop-up stores and events, as well as exclusive limited-time menus.

The inaugural Dubai K-Fest is being organised and promoted by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. It will showcase Korean brands, businesses and creative talent.

Full details of the festival programme are expected to be announced next week. Visit Dubai has also invited visitors to experience Korean culture through entertainment, authentic cuisine and shopping opportunities.

Organisers said the festival will offer a wide range of activities for both long-time fans of Korean culture and those discovering it for the first time.

Dubai has hosted several leading K-pop stars in recent years. In February, G-Dragon, one of the genre’s biggest names, performed at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre as part of the Super Krazy Concert.

Global Village also hosted a one-day music festival last November, while Dubai Festival City staged a free concert in December during the Dubai Shopping Festival.

No singers or groups have yet been announced for live performances at Dubai K-Fest, but music and live entertainment are expected to take place across Dubai during the 10-day event.

Dubai Festival City Mall is also home to Korea 360, a permanent centre dedicated to showcasing K-pop, Korean beauty products known as K-beauty, and Korean cuisine, or K-food.

In 2025, the UAE and South Korean governments also announced plans to establish a new “K-City” in the UAE, envisioned as a hub bringing together Korean culture, cuisine and businesses.
