As the summer heat continues, several shopping malls and cultural centers in Dubai are hosting a variety of activities for the weekend of July 24 to 26, ranging from sports and walking events to heritage workshops and musical performances.

The first event is a free five-kilometer race at Dubai Hills Mall, starting at 6:15 AM on Friday, July 24. Participants will run through an air-conditioned route, and the first 100 finishers will receive a free high-protein breakfast, coffee, and electrolyte drinks. No prior registration is required; participants should arrive at the New Balance store before the start of the program.

Al Seef will also host two cultural workshops. On Saturday, July 25, from 5 PM to 7 PM, participants can learn about the traditional craft of making Emirati incense and its cultural importance.

On Sunday, a perfume-making workshop will take place, where visitors can create their own signature scents using local ingredients and techniques.

Two musical performances are scheduled at the Theatre of Digital Art in Souk Madinat Jumeirah. Friday night’s program features a fusion of soul, R&B, and jazz, accompanied by 360-degree digital visuals.

On Saturday night, a string quartet will perform pieces inspired by Tango, Bossa Nova, and Cuban music.

Mall of the Emirates will host the professional Dubai Mallathon on Saturday. Prizes will be awarded to winners, and all participants will receive a 25 percent discount on Lululemon products.

The final event is a group walk on Sunday at Mall of the Emirates, which begins with a breathing exercise. After the walk, participants will receive free protein drinks and shopping discounts, and will be entered into a draw to win a sportswear set worth AED 1,500.
