The UAE-based Al Habtoor Group has announced it will gift a Mitsubishi vehicle to every member of the Egyptian national football team delegation in recognition of their historic performance at the 2026 World Cup.

The decision was made on Friday, July 10, under the directives of Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Founder and Chairman of Al Habtoor Group. The group confirmed it has reached an agreement with the Egyptian Football Association to implement the initiative following official communications.

Under the plan, players and all members of the technical, administrative, and medical staff will each receive a Mitsubishi car. Al Habtoor Group emphasized that the team's success was a collective achievement by the entire delegation, and therefore the rewards are not limited to the players alone.

In a post on the social media platform X, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor described the Egyptian team's performance as a source of pride for the Arab world, stating that their achievement belongs to all Arabs and has brought joy to millions of fans.

The Egyptian national team reached the Round of 16 of the World Cup for the first time in its history after defeating Australia in a penalty shootout during the 2026 tournament, a milestone that sparked massive celebrations across Egypt.

Al Habtoor Group has not yet disclosed the specific car models, the total value of the gifts, or the timeline for their delivery to the members of the Egyptian delegation.
