The UAE national team advanced to the final of the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup with a 1-0 victory over Oman and will face Saudi Arabia for the title on Tuesday night, October 6.

In the semi-final in Jeddah, the UAE took the lead against Oman through Ousmane Camara in the 22nd minute. Camara scored with a header, and Zlatko Dalić’s side held on to their advantage to reach the Arabian Gulf Cup final for the first time in eight years.

In the other semi-final, Saudi Arabia and Qatar remained goalless after 120 minutes. The tournament hosts won the penalty shootout 3-2 to secure their place in the final.

The UAE and Saudi Arabia will therefore meet in Jeddah on Tuesday, October 6, to contest the Gulf Cup 27 title. The UAE, champions in 2007 and 2013, are seeking their third Arabian Gulf Cup crown.
