UAE President Discusses Strategic Cooperation with US Senator

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, discussed the strategic cooperation between the UAE and the United States with US Senator Joni Ernst in a virtual meeting. Both sides affirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening these relations in a way that serves the mutual interests and people of both countries.

The meeting also addressed regional developments and their serious implications for regional and international peace and security, with both sides exchanging views on these developments.

The two parties also discussed Iran's continued terrorist attacks against the UAE and other countries in the region, including attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure. Senator Ernst condemned these attacks, stating that these actions violate the sovereignty of countries and are contrary to international law and norms.

Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE Ambassador to the United States, also attended the meeting.
