Mansoor Galedari, the son of an Emirati businessman of Iranian origin, has passed away at the age of 24.
Mansoor Galadari, son of the prominent UAE-based businessman of Iranian origin Mustafa Galadari, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the age of 24. According to an official family announcement, the funeral prayer will be held on Sunday, July 12, at 10:00 AM at the Al Quoz Grand Mosque in Dubai, and he will be laid to rest at the Al Quoz Cemetery adjacent to the mosque. Condolences will be received the same evening at the Galadari family majlis in the Jumeirah area.
The passing of the young man drew widespread reactions from leading economic figures in the UAE. Sohail Galadari, Co-Chairman of Galadari Brothers, shared a message on his official Instagram page, praying for the deceased and wishing the family patience. Hussain Sajwani, founder of DAMAC Properties, also expressed his deep sympathy to Mustafa Galadari and his family in a separate message, praying for Mansoor’s eternal peace and for the family’s strength during this time.
Mansoor Galadari joined the family business in 2022, working within the Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group. Colleagues described him as a dedicated young professional who assumed significant responsibilities early in his career. Arsalan Khatib, the group’s Chief Financial Officer, told Khaleej Times that he was a leader of the next generation with a clear vision for the company’s growth, noting that he viewed employees as more than just staff.
The Galadari family is among the long-standing merchant families of Iranian descent in the UAE, with roots tracing back to the town of Galadar in Fars Province. Having migrated to Dubai in the mid-20th century, the family maintains extensive business interests across media, hospitality, automotive, and retail sectors, including ownership of the Khaleej Times newspaper, which has been published in Dubai since 1978.
