Dubai Police have warned residents and tourists about fraudulent websites and social media accounts promoting fake Global Village packages as the attraction prepares for its new season.

The warning comes ahead of the release of special VIP packages for Global Village’s 31st season, which will go on sale in phases exclusively through the Coca-Cola Arena website.

The pre-sale will run from September 21 to 25, with customers able to purchase their preferred package for an additional fee. General sales will begin on September 26.

Dubai’s Global Village will officially reopen at 6pm local time on Wednesday, October 14, and will operate until May 2027.

Dubai Police said fraudsters often exploit announcements of new Global Village events and packages to steal money and personal information.

According to police, scammers create fake websites and accounts or copy official pages to mislead users into believing they are dealing with a legitimate platform. Victims may then be persuaded to make fraudulent purchases or disclose personal information.

Police urged residents and tourists not to fall for unrealistic offers, particularly unusually large discounts and extremely low prices, and to purchase Global Village tickets and packages only through official, authorised channels.

Users were also advised to avoid opening links or visiting unfamiliar accounts and to verify the source of any offer before making a purchase.

Dubai Police stressed that taking a few moments to verify an offer could help prevent personal data theft and financial losses.
