Sharjah Police have arrested suspects involved in the theft of property worth nearly AED 500,000 from the home of an athlete who was away at an overseas training camp.

The suspects were identified and detained less than three hours after the theft was reported, and police officers successfully recovered all the stolen items.

The case was reported to the police after unidentified individuals entered the athlete's residence in Sharjah in the owner's absence and stole valuable belongings.

Police teams arrived at the scene immediately, launched field investigations, gathered evidence, and initiated operations to identify and track the perpetrators.

Sharjah Police emphasized that protecting residents and their property is a top priority. The force continues its efforts to maintain security and peace across the emirate, including safeguarding the homes of individuals traveling abroad.
