Abbas Esmaili, director-general of airports in Iran’s Bushehr province, said flights on the Bushehr-Dubai route will begin on September 11. The addition of Ata Airlines services will also increase the province’s flight capacity on routes to Tehran and Mashhad.

Esmaili said return flights between Bushehr and Dubai will initially operate once a week on Fridays from September 11.

He added that the frequency could be increased if demand rises.
