Following reports of new sanctions imposed on several Iranian airlines, passengers are advised that flights from Iran to the UAE and Turkey are currently operating. No official notice has been issued regarding any change, suspension or cancellation of these airlines’ flight schedules.

Sanctions alone do not mean that flights will be suspended or cancelled. Some restrictions may relate to financial and commercial activities, as well as the procurement of aircraft and spare parts.

Several Iranian airlines have also faced sanctions in previous years, but this has not necessarily resulted in the suspension of their flight operations.
