The UAE dirham crossed 70,000 tomans on Iran’s open market on Wednesday, September 30. The US dollar also continued its upward trend, rising above 255,000 tomans and setting a new record in Iran’s foreign exchange market.

The increase came a day after the dollar surpassed 250,000 tomans for the first time, setting a record high.

Other major currencies also rose alongside the dollar and dirham, with the euro exceeding 289,000 tomans and the British pound climbing above 337,000 tomans.
