Dubai’s real estate transactions reached approximately AED 11.2 billion in the week ending Friday, October 9, across 3,900 deals. Property sales accounted for the largest share at AED 7.6 billion, while mortgage and gift transactions totalled around AED 2.2 billion and AED 1.45 billion, respectively.

According to data from the Dubai REST app, operated by the Dubai Land Department, 2,650 sales transactions were recorded during the week. Palm Jebel Ali topped Dubai’s areas by weekly sales value at around AED 422 million, followed by Business Bay at AED 417 million and Palm Jumeirah at AED 329 million.

Al Yufrah 1 recorded sales of around AED 256 million, followed by Dubai Hills at AED 242 million and the Burj Khalifa area at AED 238 million.

In the mortgage segment, 1,010 transactions worth around AED 2.2 billion were recorded. The Burj Khalifa area reported the highest mortgage transaction value at AED 254 million, followed by Al Nahda First and Jebel Ali Industrial First, each at around AED 100 million.

A further 240 gift transactions worth nearly AED 1.45 billion were recorded during the week. Palm Jumeirah led this category at around AED 399 million, followed by Jumeirah Bay at AED 229 million and Dubai Marina at AED 108 million.

One of the week’s most notable transactions was the sale of a completed villa in The World Islands for AED 79 million. Located on Zaya Zuha Island, the villa spans approximately 41,000 square feet, with an average transaction price of AED 1,924 per square foot.

Compared with the previous week, the total value of transactions remained broadly unchanged. In the week ending October 2, 4,076 transactions worth about AED 11.28 billion were recorded, while the number of transactions this week fell to 3,900.
