UAE-Raised Miss India Meets Sheikh Nahyan Ahead of Global Pageant
Keziah Liz Majo, Miss Universe India 2026, who was raised in the UAE, met Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, ahead of her appearance at the international Miss Universe pageant.
Sharing a video of the meeting on Instagram, Majo described the conversation as one of the highlights of her journey. She said they exchanged views on building a more united world and that she received the UAE minister’s blessings before taking to the global stage.
The UAE-raised contestant also spoke about her connection to both countries. In a separate Instagram story, she wrote that she had “always wanted to represent her country, India, in everything she does”, adding that her Miss Universe journey had “only just begun”.
In another Instagram story, Majo shared images of flowers and cards that she said were a gift from the Syrian president.
Keziah Liz Majo won the Miss Universe India title in August 2026. Originally from Kerala, the law student was raised in Abu Dhabi and is set to represent India at the global Miss Universe pageant later this year.
