The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology said conditions across the country on Tuesday, October 6, will be generally clear to partly cloudy.

Clouds will develop over eastern areas, with convective clouds, which are typically associated with rainfall, likely to form from the afternoon.

Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 38°C in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. Lows are forecast at 30°C in Abu Dhabi and 29°C in Dubai and Sharjah.

The National Centre of Meteorology has also issued red and yellow fog alerts.

The centre said fog formation would reduce horizontal visibility, which could fall further at times.

The warnings will remain in effect until 9am on October 6.

Humidity is also expected to increase in some coastal and inland areas from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, with a chance of fog or mist.

Light to moderate northwesterly to southeasterly winds are forecast, freshening at times.

The sea is expected to be calm.
