Data from tanker tracking firm Vortexa shows that United Arab Emirates oil exports in June surpassed levels recorded before the Strait of Hormuz blockages.

The UAE exported an average of 3.7 million barrels per day (bpd) of oil and gas condensates last month, compared to between 3.1 and 3.3 million bpd during the pre-conflict period.

Bloomberg also reported that daily oil exports briefly peaked at 3.9 million barrels last month, the highest level since 2017.

In addition to the Strait of Hormuz, the UAE exports oil through the Port of Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman.

This increase comes as the UAE has ramped up production following its departure from OPEC.
