ARM Holding and Art Dubai have announced a call for proposals for a new permanent public art commission in Dubai.

The project, titled "We Rise Stronger," will be installed at Huna Sculpture Park in H Residence. Artists are invited to submit proposals for a site-specific outdoor work that responds to the concepts of resilience, renewal, and collective strength.

The title is inspired by the words of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.

The project is open to regional and international artists residing in the UAE, as well as collaborations between artists and galleries. Applicants must have prior experience with permanent works or large-scale outdoor installations.

Submissions opened on June 17 and will continue until July 25. Artist guidelines and the registration portal are available on the Art Dubai website.

Artists are asked to consider material, form, scale, lighting, and public engagement in their proposals. Submissions will be evaluated based on curatorial relevance, site responsiveness, artistic merit, public presence, and technical feasibility.

Huna Sculpture Park at H Residence on Jumeirah Road opened during Art Dubai in March 2024. The park's initial collection included works by Rana Begum titled No. 1235 Mesh, Shaikha Al Mazrou titled Measuring Physicality of Void, and Pablo Reinoso titled Solo Bench I.

The park currently hosts permanent and temporary works by artists including Khalid Al Banna, Nadim Karam, Sara Naim, and Jacob Dahlgren; a permanent work by Dahlgren titled Early One Morning was added to the collection in 2025.

Mohammad Saeed Al Shehhi, CEO of ARM Holding, said: "Culture is essential to how we build our cities and communities. This art commission reflects our belief that art should be woven into daily life; giving artists the freedom to present bold and individual designs while creating a lasting public presence that is deeply connected to its environment."

Benedetta Ghione, Executive Director of Art Dubai Group, also stated that this collaboration is part of a shared commitment to supporting artists in the city.

She added: "We are proud to implement this art commission alongside ARM Holding and look forward to seeing a fresh and ambitious work added to the city's permanent landscape."
