Deliveroo UAE has announced the launch of a new feature called Deliveroo Reservations, an in-app service powered by the SevenRooms platform. This marks Deliveroo’s expansion beyond food delivery and its entry into the full dining experience sector.

The feature integrates SevenRooms' restaurant reservation technology into the Deliveroo app, allowing users to view and book a curated selection of Dubai restaurants, including some of the city’s most popular dining destinations.

The launch of this service is a significant step in Deliveroo’s efforts to support restaurants beyond delivery services. The feature helps restaurants increase their dine-in sales, better manage table capacity, and reach new customers.

This move follows the acquisition of Deliveroo and SevenRooms by DoorDash in 2025 and represents the first major product integration between these businesses.

SevenRooms is a well-known technology platform for restaurants, providing tools for customer relationship management, guest experience, and marketing. With this integration, bookings made through Deliveroo connect directly to SevenRooms, ensuring that availability, reservations, and cancellations are updated in real-time without the need for manual data entry.

Nick Price, General Manager of Deliveroo Middle East, stated that the launch of Deliveroo Reservations aligns with the company’s broader goal of supporting the long-term growth of the UAE’s hospitality sector. He added that Dubai is the first city to introduce this service.

According to Price, Deliveroo’s entry into the restaurant reservation space creates new opportunities for restaurant partners to increase dine-in sales, optimize table capacity, and engage with new audiences.

Joel Montaniel, President and Co-founder of SevenRooms, said that restaurants thrive on the relationships they build with their guests, and the addition of reservation capabilities to the Deliveroo app provides a new way for Dubai restaurants to connect with customers.

Deliveroo Reservations has initially launched in Dubai, with plans for expansion across the UAE.

This feature is part of Deliveroo’s expansion into food, grocery, and retail sectors, reflecting a broader shift in consumer expectations toward seamless, convenient, and comprehensive experiences within a single platform.
