The latest collaboration between BTS member Jung Kook and global brand Calvin Klein saw massive demand from fans, selling out on the US website within minutes of its online release.

The capsule collection, titled CKJK, marks Jung Kook’s first exclusive collaboration with Calvin Klein and was launched on May 20. Online sales began at 2 AM UAE time, but many fans were unable to complete their purchases as the US website crashed due to high traffic and items sold out rapidly.

Ishpreet Kaur Do, a 25-year-old Dubai resident, was among the fans who stayed awake until 2 AM to purchase an item from the collection but was unsuccessful. She noted that the collection sold out in minutes and the website experienced technical issues.

The CKJK collection holds special significance for BTS fans, as the designs are inspired by Jung Kook’s famous tattoos, with his signature embroidered on the inside of certain jackets and jeans.

The collection features 20 items for men and women, ranging from underwear to jackets, t-shirts, and denim pieces. The designs are inspired by Jung Kook’s passion for motorcycles, featuring a standout leather jacket and structured denim items.

In a behind-the-scenes video, Jung Kook stated that the jeans in the collection reflect his personal style. He also described the embroidered signature inside some items as a "little secret between me and ARMY."

While some fans in the UAE were unable to purchase online, others are hoping to secure the collection through global pop-up stores.

Marjorie Lacasandile, a Filipino national living in Abu Dhabi, said she has registered to visit the CKJK pop-up in Seoul’s Seongsu district in June, hoping to acquire the signature denim jacket.

Despite the high demand, the release date for the collection in the UAE remains unconfirmed. Calvin Klein customer service representatives stated they have not yet received information regarding a local launch.

According to current listings, the CKJK collection will be available in selected global cities, including Mexico City, New York, Paris, Seoul, Sao Paulo, Tokyo, Bangkok, Los Angeles, and Shanghai.
