Registration opens for UAE fashion designers for brand building course in Dubai
Emirati and UAE-based fashion designers are invited to apply for the inaugural "Made in Dubai Fashion Sprint," an accelerator program designed to transform creative concepts into market-ready brands.
The eight-week program will take place from September 19 to November 8, 2026, with only 15 designers to be selected. Applications opened on August 3 and will remain open until August 28.
Organized in collaboration with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI), the program is tailored for individuals seeking to scale an existing brand, develop a new fashion concept, or prepare for retail entry.
Participants will engage in workshops, mentorship sessions, and specialized training covering brand identity and strategy, product development, pricing, marketing, financial planning, and retail readiness.
The initiative also bridges the gap between designers and manufacturers, tailoring houses, vendors, and industry experts, providing insights into production, market entry, and the commercial aspects of establishing a brand in Dubai. Designers will also receive personalized feedback on their collections and business trajectories.
Upon completion, selected designers will pitch their products and brand strategies to leading industry figures during a final showcase. Applicants will be assessed on their technical skills, execution quality, production readiness, commercial viability, and growth potential.
The program aligns with Dubai’s broader efforts to bolster its creative economy and the "Dubai Design Sector Strategy 2033," which seeks to cement the emirate's position as a global hub for design, innovation, and creative enterprises.
