Dubai Mall is preparing to launch a new app, Dubai Mall Online, allowing customers to order products from its stores online and receive them within one hour in Dubai. The service is also expected to offer same-day delivery to other emirates across the UAE.

Advertisements for the service have appeared across Dubai Mall and Downtown Dubai. However, the official launch date, list of participating brands and delivery fees have yet to be announced.

The Google Play listing shows that the Android version of the app has been released by e-commerce company noon, offering categories including clothing, bags and footwear, beauty products, electronics and homeware. The platform is separate from the existing Dubai Mall app, which primarily helps visitors navigate more than 1,200 stores, access information about discounts and earn Emirates Skywards miles by uploading purchase receipts.

The partnership between Emaar and noon, both founded by Mohamed Alabbar, dates back to April 2020, when shopping malls were closed during the Covid-19 pandemic. At the time, a virtual Dubai Mall store featuring 24 brands was launched on noon’s platform, offering delivery across the UAE.

With its dedicated app and promise of one-hour delivery, Dubai Mall is taking a new step into the UAE’s growing quick-delivery market. Existing competitors include Apparel Group, which offers 60-minute delivery on selected products through its AIVI app, and luxury online retailer Ounass, which provides two-hour delivery in Dubai.
