A limited-edition Baileys Irish Cream liqueur featuring a “Dubai Chocolate” flavour went on sale in Dubai on Saturday, October 24. Priced at Dh99 a bottle, it is available exclusively at African + Eastern’s Dubai Mall branch. The company is one of Dubai’s two main licensed alcohol retail chains.

The product is unavailable anywhere else in the world, including other shops and duty-free outlets. It is the first flavour the Irish brand has launched specifically for the UAE. Only a limited number of bottles are available, with sales continuing while stocks last.

Alcohol can be purchased in Dubai only by people aged 21 and over and from licensed retailers.

Dubai Chocolate is a chocolate bar filled with crunchy kunafa strands, pistachio cream and tahini. It was created in 2021 by Dubai-based Fix Dessert Chocolatier. A TikTok video featuring the chocolate went viral in late 2023, and its popularity became global in 2024. In July 2025, the chief executive of Dubai Duty Free said the company’s stores had sold about 2.5 million Dubai Chocolate bars worth Dh165 million in the first half of the year, accounting for 40 per cent of their total confectionery and chocolate sales.
