Dubai’s Global Village has announced a special offer for families, reducing the price of its Family Fun Pass from Dh595 to Dh399. The Dh196 discount allows visitors to enjoy a range of attractions and entertainment for less.

According to an announcement posted by Global Village on social media on Sunday, November 1, 2026, the package includes four admission tickets, a Wonder Pass loaded with 400 points and one free ride of the visitor’s choice at Carnaval.

However, Global Village has not yet announced when the special offer will end or whether it will remain available throughout Season 31, which began on October 14, 2026, and will run until May 2027.

Standard admission to Global Village costs Dh25 from Monday to Thursday, excluding public holidays. An any-day ticket, valid from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays, costs Dh30.

Carnaval rides and some other attractions carry additional charges.

Global Village Season 31 opens with new attractions

Global Village’s 31st season opened at 6pm on October 14, 2026, with an inaugural parade, a confetti shower at the Gate of the World entrance and a display featuring 600 illuminated drones.

The destination is hosting 29 cultural pavilions this season, showcasing more than 90 cultures from around the world. Visitors can also enjoy more than 200 rides and attractions.

One of this year’s changes is a dedicated Sri Lanka pavilion, which was previously part of the Bangladesh pavilion. The Syria and Kuwait pavilions have also returned with redesigned façades.

Global Village is open from 4pm to midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, and from 4pm to 1am from Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays.

Tuesdays are reserved for families, couples and women, except on public holidays.

1,000-drone show to mark UAE Flag Day

One of Global Village’s major upcoming events is its UAE Flag Day celebration, which will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

At 8pm, 1,000 illuminated drones will take to the skies above Global Village, forming designs in red, green, white and black, the colours of the UAE flag.

UAE flags will also be displayed across the destination, while Global Village’s prominent structures and attractions will be illuminated in the national colours.

Visitors will also receive UAE flags upon arrival.

Those interested in Emirati culture and traditions can visit the UAE pavilion to explore traditional handicrafts, local products and Emirati specialities.

Diwali celebrations from November 6 to 10

Global Village will also host special events from November 6 to 10, 2026, to celebrate Diwali, known as the Festival of Lights.

All special activities are included with standard admission, with no separate ticket required.

The programme will begin on Friday, November 6, with Global Village’s first Baithak performance.

The traditional South Asian musical gathering, organised in collaboration with City FM, will take place on Global Village’s Main Stage from 8pm to 9pm.

The date also coincides with Dhanteras, the first day of the Diwali festivities.

Interactive activities, games and prizes will be available for visitors on Saturday, November 7.

One of the main highlights will take place on Sunday, November 8, coinciding with Diwali night.

At 8pm, a special display featuring 600 illuminated drones will be staged over the Stunt Show arena and the Syria pavilion.

Global Village will close at midnight that day.

Diwali market and family entertainment

Throughout the five-day Diwali celebrations, a special market called Diwali Mela will be held in collaboration with the India pavilion in Global Village’s commercial activities area.

The market will offer decorations, gifts, traditional food and sweets associated with Diwali.

A dedicated children’s area will feature activities including face painting, decorating traditional diya lamps and creating colourful rangoli designs.

Fans of Indian cuisine can also visit the Indian Chaat Bazaar to sample street food and traditional dishes, including pani puri, chaat, pav bhaji, chole bhature, Indian noodles and mithai sweets.
