Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi has been named among the top 100 global tourism attractions and experiences for 2026, while also securing a spot on the list of Asia's top 100 experiences.
These two lists, titled "Trip.Best," were published by the travel platform Trip.com. The rankings are based on visitor reviews and attraction performance indicators, highlighting Qasr Al Watan's position as one of the UAE's leading cultural and heritage destinations.
Key highlights of the palace include the "Great Hall," featuring traditional Arabic architecture and one of the world's largest central domes. The "Spirit of Collaboration" hall serves as the venue for meetings of the Federal Supreme Council, the Arab League, and the Gulf Cooperation Council, and features a chandelier adorned with 350,000 crystal pieces.
Visitors can also explore the Presidential Gifts exhibition, the Banquet Hall, and its collection of formal dinnerware. The Qasr Al Watan Library houses more than 50,000 works on the region's literary and scientific heritage, while the "Golden Ink" exhibition displays rare Arabic and Islamic manuscripts.
In addition to cultural exhibitions, the palace hosts military band performances on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 2:30 PM. The "Palace in Motion" light and sound show takes place every evening at 7:30 PM, narrating the story of the UAE's past, present, and future.
