Some of the world’s greatest football legends, including Ronaldinho, Xavi Hernandez, David Villa, and Eden Hazard, are set to feature in the "King’s Cup" exhibition tournament in Dubai on November 28, 2026.

Organizers have announced that the upcoming edition will feature eight international teams. In addition to World Cup winners and football icons, the event will include athletes, actors, celebrities, and influencers.

Other confirmed participants include Nani, Fernando Morientes, Jordi Alba, Gonzalo Higuain, Javier Saviola, Juan Sebastian Veron, and Marcelo. Former Moroccan international star Mustapha Hadji will also compete in the tournament.

The eight competing teams are Dubai’s Red Rock Royals, India’s BW Saints and Odisha Kings, the USA’s Clearwater Knights, Slovakia’s BetLife Angels, the UK’s AIG Fab Stars and Kelu Yar Giants, and South Africa’s Ignite Emperors.

Mohammad Saeb, the tournament’s Chief Operating Officer who will also participate as a player, stated that more figures from the worlds of cinema, entertainment, and social media will join the teams as "King’s Guardians."

Beyond the football matches, the King’s Cup will feature live entertainment, meet-and-greet sessions, charitable initiatives, and fan experiences. Previous editions have hosted stars such as John Terry, Franck Ribery, David Silva, Paul Scholes, and Roberto Carlos.

Details regarding the venue, match timings, and ticket sales are yet to be announced.
