Dubai Ride organisers have launched a new “Decorate Your Bike” competition, offering four prizes of AED 10,000 each, with a total prize pool of AED 40,000, to the most creative participants.

The competition will make its debut at Dubai Ride, which will transform Sheikh Zayed Road into a dedicated cycling route on Sunday, November 1, 2026, as part of the 10th Dubai Fitness Challenge.

How to enter the competition

Participants can creatively decorate their bicycles, wear distinctive and eye-catching costumes, or combine both ideas.

To enter, participants simply need to appear in front of the official photographers with their decorated bicycle or costume on the day of the event. Their photographs will then be submitted for judging.

Prizes will be awarded in four categories:

▪️        Best overall bicycle design and decoration
▪️        Most creative theme or concept
▪️        Best family costume
▪️        Best group costume

The winner of each category will receive AED 10,000.

Two cycling routes through the heart of Dubai

This year’s Dubai Ride features two main routes:

🚴 The 12km Sheikh Zayed Road route is designed for experienced cyclists and passes landmarks including the Museum of the Future, Dubai Water Canal and Burj Khalifa.

🚴 The 4km Downtown family route is flat and suitable for families and children, passing Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera and Burj Khalifa.

Participation is free, but online registration is mandatory. Participants must register through the official Dubai Fitness Challenge website and collect their event identification number from October 28 to 31 at the Dubai Municipality Fitness Village in Zabeel Park.

Dubai Ride is not a race, and participants must observe the speed limit of 25km/h.

More than 40,000 cyclists took part in the event last year.

The 10th Dubai Fitness Challenge will run from October 31 to November 29, 2026, encouraging citizens, residents and visitors to complete 30 minutes of physical activity every day for 30 days.
