Dubai has launched a new educational platform, GenDubAI, to raise families’ awareness of artificial intelligence and promote its responsible and constructive use.

Through practical, interactive educational content, the platform helps parents take an active role in their children’s learning and development, while enabling children to benefit from AI opportunities under family guidance.

The initiative is also designed to protect children’s privacy, preserve cultural values and support their intellectual development.

GenDubAI was launched in collaboration with the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, the Community Development Authority in Dubai and the Dubai Future Foundation.

The platform is designed for families with children aged eight to 15 and is available in Arabic and English. Users can access its educational content through a mobile-friendly version.

The content is designed to be simple and practical while reflecting the culture and values of UAE society.

Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director-General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai, said GenDubAI places families at the heart of the AI learning process, turning the technology into a shared opportunity for education, dialogue and creativity at home.

Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director of the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, described the platform as the first of its kind, saying children can benefit from the wide-ranging opportunities offered by AI under the direct guidance of their parents.
