Dubai-Based Iranian Model Crowned Miss Global Middle East 2026
Miss Global 2026 began on September 29 with 73 contestants. Satari, who competed under the title “Persia,” topped the public voting rankings with 12,457,624 votes. She reached the top 12 alongside representatives from countries including Colombia, Spain, South Africa and Venezuela, but did not advance to the final five. Kelly Kirstein of the United States and Bianca Nicole Miranda Caraballo of Puerto Rico were named first and second runners-up, respectively.
On September 25, before the competition began, English-language newspaper Gulf News reported that Satari had moved to Dubai three years earlier. She is a second-year dentistry student at City University Ajman and expects to graduate in 2030. The newspaper added that she began modelling at the age of 19, initially working as a makeup artist and bridal model, and has also published a book.
According to Gulf News, Satari’s national costume for the competition was inspired by the Simurgh, the mythical bird of Persian literature. In an interview with the newspaper, she expressed appreciation for the opportunities the UAE had given her to grow and advance. Speaking about her future plans, she said: “Merit first, followed by service and impact.”
