West-to-East pipeline to double ADNOC export capacity from Fujairah
The UAE is set to accelerate the implementation of the new West-to-East pipeline project, which will double ADNOC's export capacity through Fujairah.
The pipeline is currently under construction and is expected to become operational in 2027.
This decision follows a meeting of the Executive Committee of the ADNOC Board of Directors, chaired by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, at the company's headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, Sheikh Khaled praised ADNOC's resilience in maintaining safe operations and ensuring a reliable energy supply for domestic and international customers.
He also directed ADNOC to accelerate the project's implementation as the company enters a new phase of executing major global projects to meet international energy demand.

The Executive Committee also reviewed the progress of the TA’ZIZ Phase 1 chemical ecosystem development at Al Ruways Industrial City in Al Dhafra, emphasizing its key role in creating new domestic value chains.
Sheikh Khaled welcomed the long-term offtake and feedstock agreements announced by TA’ZIZ at the Make it in the Emirates 2026 event. He also noted the company's collaboration with Alpha Dhabi to conduct a feasibility study for producing up to 14 industrial chemicals in the UAE, which are widely used in sectors such as construction, automotive, packaging, and consumer goods.
The TA’ZIZ chemical ecosystem is scheduled to produce 4.7 million tonnes of industrial chemicals annually by the end of 2028, becoming one of the largest integrated chemical platforms in the Gulf region.
Sheikh Khaled also emphasized the vital role of ADNOC’s In-Country Value (ICV) program in driving growth and creating value-added opportunities for local businesses and manufacturers, urging the company to prioritize Made in the Emirates products in its projects and operations.
