Bangladeshi National Killed by Drone Debris in Fujairah

A Bangladeshi national was killed this morning in Fujairah after debris from a drone, intercepted over the emirate by UAE air defense systems, fell to the ground, the Fujairah Government Media Office announced on Wednesday. The incident occurred on a farm in the Al Rifaa area.

According to the official statement, UAE air defense systems successfully intercepted the drone, but its debris fell at the incident site after the interception. Local authorities confirmed one fatality as a result of the event.

Authorities urged the public to obtain information about the incident only from official channels, warning that spreading rumors and unverified reports could cause unnecessary concern among residents.

It was also announced that emergency services and responsible authorities remain at the scene, and the process of monitoring and securing the surrounding area is ongoing.
