Etihad Rail’s Dubai station, officially named Al Yalayis, is scheduled to open on September 30, 2026, alongside Al Dhaid station in Sharjah.
The station is located in Jumeirah Golf Estates, near Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311), providing residents of areas including Al Furjan, Dubai Investments Park and Dubai South with access to the rail network.
A second Etihad Rail station is also planned for Meydan. It is expected to connect to the future Dubai Metro Gold Line, which is scheduled for completion in 2032.
🔵 Etihad Rail connection to Dubai Metro and nol card system
A dedicated pedestrian bridge is under construction to connect Al Yalayis station to the Dubai Metro network.
The bridge will link the Etihad Rail station to Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station on the Red Line, allowing passengers to transfer between the national rail network and Dubai’s urban transport system.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) previously said the nol card system was ready to be integrated with Etihad Rail.
The integration will allow passengers to use nol cards for metro, bus, taxi and train services.
