UAE weather: Chance of rain in some areas, clear to partly cloudy skies
The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology said the weather today, Friday, October 23, will be clear to partly cloudy, with a chance of rain in some areas.
Clouds are expected to form over eastern parts of the country and may become convective by the afternoon, bringing a possibility of rainfall.
Humidity is also expected to increase in some coastal and inland areas from Friday evening through Saturday morning, with a chance of fog or mist forming.
Southeasterly winds, gradually shifting to northwesterly, will blow at speeds of 10 to 20 km/h, occasionally reaching 35 km/h.
The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.
Despite the possibility of rain, hot conditions will persist across the UAE, with temperatures reaching 40°C in some areas.
Maximum temperatures are forecast to reach 37°C in Dubai and 38°C in both Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Minimum temperatures in the three cities will be 26°C, 28°C and 24°C, respectively.
