The UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment said it is working with the relevant local authorities to investigate and monitor unusual odours reported in several areas across the country to determine their nature and source.

According to Gulf News, the ministry said investigations conducted so far had revealed no cause for concern.

However, field monitoring and measures to reduce the intensity of the unusual odours and accelerate their elimination are continuing.

The ministry stressed that the public would be promptly informed and provided with the necessary guidance if any developments required precautionary measures.

It also urged residents to obtain news and information on the matter only from official sources and approved communication channels.
