The Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday evening, August 24, that Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz had received a written letter from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan regarding bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

According to the report, Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Khuraiji received the letter from the UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Matar Al Dhaheri, at the Foreign Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh.

The report added that the Saudi deputy foreign minister and the UAE ambassador discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them across various fields, as well as issues of mutual interest.
