Dubai Retail has unveiled Skylight Mall, a major new shopping destination on Al Khail Road in Dubai. Scheduled to open in 2027, the mall will feature more than 360 stores.

The development will offer around 1.3 million square feet of leasable space, bringing together retail outlets, restaurants, entertainment venues and everyday services. Full details of its brands, dining options and leisure attractions have yet to be announced.

Skylight Mall’s location along Al Khail Road will provide convenient access for residents of nearby communities, including Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT), Jumeirah Islands and The Springs. It is also expected to attract visitors from across Dubai.

Under the proposed plans, the mall’s architecture will focus on expansive, interconnected interiors, seamlessly integrating retail, food and beverage, entertainment and social spaces.

Dubai Retail currently manages 58 shopping malls and retail and leisure destinations across Dubai. Its portfolio includes Palm Jumeirah Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, Dragon Mart and The Outlet Village, as well as destinations such as Bluewaters, JBR and Palm West Beach.

The unveiling of Skylight Mall comes as Dubai continues to expand its retail developments. Upon opening in 2027, it will become one of the largest new retail projects along Al Khail Road.
