Ras Al Khaimah Casino to Build 98-Berth Marina for Yachts
Wynn Al Marjan Island has unveiled plans for a dedicated superyacht marina featuring 98 berths and capable of accommodating vessels up to 85 metres long.
The marina will provide direct access for guests arriving at the resort by sea and is designed to accommodate superyachts and megayachts.
Wynn said the facility will have greater capacity for more and larger vessels than any hotel-connected marina in the UAE.
Designed as part of the wider Wynn Al Marjan Island resort, the marina will connect yacht owners and guests directly to the hotel, restaurants, entertainment facilities and other waterfront amenities.
Max Tappeiner, President of Wynn Al Marjan Island, said: “Wynn Marina has been designed as a direct extension of Wynn Al Marjan Island.”
He added: “Guests will be able to move seamlessly between life on the water and the resort’s various experiences, from dining and entertainment to accommodation and waterfront amenities. This will not simply be a place to berth a yacht, but an integral part of the destination.”
New Phase of Ras Al Khaimah’s Multi-Billion-Dollar Project
The construction of a marina is another key component of the Wynn Al Marjan Island project, which is being developed on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah.
The multi-billion-dollar resort is being developed by Wynn Resorts in partnership with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding and is scheduled to open in 2027.
The project will feature a hotel, restaurants, retail outlets, entertainment venues and leisure facilities, as well as the UAE’s first licensed commercial gaming facility.
Wynn Al Marjan Island is part of Ras Al Khaimah’s broader strategy to expand its tourism industry and attract higher-spending international visitors as the emirate increases investment in luxury hotels and leisure infrastructure.
