The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said skies will be clear to partly cloudy on Sunday, with a chance of rain in some eastern areas during the afternoon as convective clouds develop. Parts of the UAE have experienced persistent rainfall over the past few days.

Humidity is expected to increase overnight and on Monday morning in some coastal and inland areas, with a chance of fog or mist forming.

Winds are forecast to be light to moderate but may strengthen at times as cloud activity increases, causing blowing dust. Wind speeds will range from 10 to 25 kilometres per hour, reaching 50 kilometres per hour at times.

Sea conditions are also expected to be calm.

According to the NCM, the UAE’s highest temperature on Saturday was 41.6°C, recorded in Sweihan, Al Ain, at 2.30pm.

On Sunday, temperatures are forecast to reach a high of 35°C in Dubai and 38°C in Sharjah, with lows of 27°C in both emirates.
