Free Registration Opens for Dubai Run 2026 on Sheikh Zayed Road on November 22
Free registration has opened for Dubai Run 2026. The event will take place on Sunday, November 22, bringing thousands of participants to Sheikh Zayed Road. Residents and tourists can run or walk along 5-kilometre and 10-kilometre routes.
The event is one of the highlights of the 10th Dubai Fitness Challenge and is free for all ages and fitness levels. Sections of Sheikh Zayed Road will be closed to traffic for the event.
Both routes start near the Museum of the Future. The 5-kilometre route, suitable for families, children and beginners, finishes on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard near Dubai Mall. The 10-kilometre route is designed for more experienced runners and finishes near The Gate Building at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
The event begins at 6:30am, with the start line remaining open until 8am. It concludes at 9am.
Participants can register free of charge through www.dubaifitnesschallenge.com. Each participant must register separately and obtain an individual race number, or bib. Bibs can be collected from the Dubai Municipality Fitness Village at Zabeel Park.
Children may participate if accompanied by an adult, while strollers are permitted on the 5-kilometre route.
Participants are advised to use the Dubai Metro because of traffic restrictions. World Trade Centre station is recommended for the 5-kilometre route, while Emirates Towers station is recommended for the 10-kilometre route.
Dubai Run was launched in 2019, and participation exceeded 307,000 people in 2025.
The 10th Dubai Fitness Challenge will run from October 31 to November 29, 2026, encouraging residents and tourists to complete 30 minutes of physical activity each day for 30 days.
