Employees at a UAE company who received 18 chocolates instead of an iPhone in a gift-box selection game ultimately received iPhones like their colleagues. The company’s founder and his wife, who serves as its CEO, shared a video of the surprise on Instagram, and the clip has since circulated widely on social media.

World Star Holding is a company that primarily provides workforce solutions in the UAE. Nishad Hussain is its founder and chairman, while his wife, Hasina Nishad, who is from the southern Indian state of Kerala, serves as CEO.

In the video, employees take turns selecting gift boxes from a table without knowing what is inside. When the boxes are opened, some contain brand-new iPhones, while others hold chocolates. At the end, Hasina Nishad also gives iPhones to those who selected chocolates, ensuring that everyone receives the same gift. The video captures the employees’ reactions shifting from initial disappointment to smiles and excitement.

Haseena Nishad wrote in a message accompanying the video that, as CEO, she believes true success stems from employees’ commitment, positive spirit and collective strength. She also encouraged staff to believe in their abilities, seize opportunities for growth and continue supporting one another.

Social media users praised the fact that employees who initially received chocolates were also included in the final surprise. Many also commented on the employees’ facial expressions when they realised they would receive iPhones as well.
