The South Korean Cultural Festival in Dubai begins tonight, Friday, September 25, with a free K-pop concert at Dubai Festival City Mall, headlined by ONEUS and South Korean singer Kwon Eun-bi.

The opening ceremony of Dubai K-Fest will take place at Festival Bay. The programme begins at 7.30pm with the IMAGINE water, light and laser show, followed by the main concert from 8pm to 10pm. Admission is free and no tickets are required.

Alongside performances by Kwon Eun-bi and ONEUS, the opening night will feature traditional Korean cultural performances, a taekwondo dance show and other entertainment.

Dubai K-Fest will run from September 25 to October 4 at venues across the city, featuring events focused on K-pop, Korean cinema, fashion and beauty, food and shopping.

A second free festival event will be held at Dubai Festival City on Saturday, September 26, featuring AIKI and Choi Young-jun, prominent figures in K-pop dance and choreography.

The festival’s opening had been uncertain in recent days after it was announced on September 21 that the weekend events had been postponed due to a period of public mourning in Dubai. However, the latest information released on Friday, September 25, along with the event’s official schedule, confirms that tonight’s concert will go ahead.
