UAE Hosts National Pink Caravan Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign
Friends of Cancer Patients is preparing to launch its 2026 Pink Caravan campaign on October 1, coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The nationwide campaign will feature a comprehensive programme of free screenings, community initiatives and events, as well as awareness sessions. It reflects the organisation’s commitment to social responsibility and improving the quality of life for all members of society.
This year’s campaign builds on the success of the previous edition, which provided more than 19,000 free screenings to 17,458 women and 2,244 men.
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pink Caravan aims to expand the reach of its services and provide diverse opportunities for individuals, families, companies and other segments of society to participate in the campaign and its initiatives.
Aisha Al Mulla, Director of Friends of Cancer Patients, said: “Early detection is one of the most important ways to improve the chances of successful breast cancer treatment. We are therefore working to make screening services more accessible to communities across the UAE.”
She added: “Our efforts this year are not limited to providing more screening opportunities. We are also encouraging families, friends and other community members to support the women around them and motivate them to pay greater attention to their health and make it a priority.”
