The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology said the weather today will be generally fair to partly cloudy, with clouds forming over eastern areas potentially becoming convective by the afternoon.

According to the forecast, conditions will be humid overnight and on Friday morning in some western areas, with a chance of light fog forming.

The centre also issued red and yellow alerts for dense fog in some areas, warning of reduced horizontal visibility until 9am today.

A yellow alert was also issued for adverse conditions and rough seas in the Sea of Oman, remaining in effect until 11am today.

Temperatures across the UAE are forecast to range from 24°C to 44°C. Highs will reach 42°C in Dubai and 38°C in Abu Dhabi.

Winds are expected to be light to moderate, freshening at times and causing blowing dust.

Seas in the Arabian Gulf will be slight to moderate. Conditions in the Sea of Oman will also be slight to moderate but may become rough at times.
