Abu Dhabi temperatures to hit 40°C; cloudy skies and winds forecast across the UAE

The UAE’s National Center of Meteorology said temperatures in coastal areas would rise on Friday, October 2, with highs reaching 40°C in Abu Dhabi and 39°C in Dubai.
According to the centre’s forecast, skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times over some eastern and southern areas of the UAE.
The NCM also issued a yellow alert for strong winds and rough seas until 4pm. Southeasterly to northeasterly winds are expected at speeds of 10 to 25kph, reaching 40kph at times and potentially stirring up dust.
The sea will also be rough at times in the morning before conditions gradually ease.
