The 12th edition of Dubai Design Week will take place from November 3 to 8, 2026, at Dubai Design District (d3), bringing together designers and enthusiasts from around the world for a programme of art exhibitions, architectural installations, workshops, expert talks and a marketplace for creative products.

Launched in 2015, the event is held under the patronage of Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, and is considered one of the Middle East’s leading design gatherings.

This year’s edition will focus on connections between people, shared spaces and the role of design in everyday life.

What can visitors expect?

One of the main highlights will be a showcase of architectural works and art installations in public spaces across Dubai Design District.

Three Gardens and a Room, a project by Nao Architects and the winner of this year’s urban space design competition, will use plants, light, shade and colour to create a space where visitors can meet and interact.

The Abwab section will also return this year with a group exhibition titled In Other Words, exploring human communication, language, symbols and the ways meaning is conveyed through design.

Visitors can also take part in hands-on workshops at the Maker Space and learn about different areas of design and art production.

Downtown Design: November 4-8

Downtown Design, one of the main events at Dubai Design Week, will run from November 4 to 8. The opening day will be reserved for invited guests, with public admission beginning on November 5.

The exhibition will feature work by international brands and regional designers, with sections dedicated to interior design, furniture, luxury products and the Memphis Milano design movement.

Brands including Gaggenau, Buccellati, Venini and Kohler will also participate in this year’s programme.

Weekend market and admission fees

A special Dubai Design Week market featuring local artists and businesses will be held on November 7 and 8, offering products including handicrafts, jewellery, clothing and home décor.

Admission to the main Dubai Design Week venue is free, and the event will be open daily from 10am to 10pm.

However, a one-day ticket to Downtown Design costs AED80, while a four-day pass is priced at AED150.
