More rain possible in UAE as winds reach 50km/h
The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said the country will experience clear to partly cloudy skies today, Thursday, October 15, with a chance of rain over some eastern, inland and western areas as convective clouds form in the afternoon.
According to the forecast, clouds will initially form over eastern areas before spreading to parts of the country’s inland and western regions, potentially bringing rainfall.
Higher humidity overnight and on Friday morning will also increase the likelihood of fog or mist forming over some coastal and inland areas.
Winds will initially blow from the southeast before gradually shifting to northwesterly. They will be light to moderate, but may occasionally reach 50 kilometres per hour, particularly during cloud formation, potentially stirring up dust and reducing horizontal visibility in some areas.
Sea conditions are also forecast to be calm.
