Dubai Municipality has opened registration for the fifth edition of Souk Al Freej for local entrepreneurs, small business owners and productive families.

The market will run from December 11, 2026, to January 17, 2027, across three public parks in Dubai and over three separate periods. It will feature shopping, food, cultural activities and family entertainment during the winter season.

The first phase of Souk Al Freej will take place at Nad Al Sheba Rose Garden from December 11 to 20. The market will then move to Al Barsha Pond Park from December 25 to January 3, before concluding at Al Warqa Park from January 8 to 17.

The market will be open daily from 4:30pm to 10pm.

The fifth edition will feature 50 stalls, including 10 dedicated to support services and food and beverage offerings. Entrepreneurs and productive families will be able to showcase products including home-made food, handicrafts, clothing and sustainable goods.

Dubai Municipality said the event aims to provide an accessible platform for small businesses to showcase their products and help locally made goods reach a wider range of consumers.

New attractions have also been added to the fifth edition of Souk Al Freej. These include an Asian Village Experience featuring designs, food and cultural activities inspired by Asian countries, a dedicated Gen Z zone, open play areas for children and creative workshops.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy a zip line and take part in a treasure hunt that guides participants through different areas of the market and among participating stalls.

Mohammed Abdulrahman Ahli, Director of the Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Department at Dubai Municipality, said Souk Al Freej has become a platform for local entrepreneurs and productive families to showcase their products and connect directly with customers.

“Through this initiative, we provide small businesses with opportunities to showcase their products, engage directly with consumers and reach new customers in a well-organised and supportive environment,” he said.

Ahli added that Dubai Municipality is seeking to expand the role of public parks beyond recreation by hosting a range of activities that bring together residents of different age groups.

He said the fifth edition of Souk Al Freej would create opportunities for entrepreneurs while offering new cultural and recreational experiences, encouraging more residents and tourists to visit Dubai’s parks during the winter months.

According to Dubai Municipality, the fourth edition of Souk Al Freej attracted 308,842 visitors.

Registration for the new edition is now open to entrepreneurs, small business owners and productive families through the Dubai Municipality website.
