Dubai International Airport (DXB) is hosting free yoga and breathing sessions for passengers as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026. The programme is being held in the D Gates area of Terminal 1, where passengers with access can join 20-minute pre-flight sessions without advance booking.

According to Dubai Airports, the initiative is being organised in partnership with wellness services provider Be Relax. It aims to help passengers reduce stress, stretch and unwind before their flights.

The sessions are scheduled over four days: October 31 and November 1, 7 and 8, 2026. Following the first two days, the remaining sessions will take place on Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8, in the central area of Terminal 1’s D Gates at Dubai International Airport.

Drop-In Yoga and Breathing Exercise Classes

As part of the programme, Be Relax instructors will lead gentle yoga sessions and guided breathing exercises.

The yoga classes include gentle stretches and body relaxation exercises, while the breathing sessions are designed to improve focus and promote calm before a flight.

According to Dubai Airports, no previous yoga experience is required, and people of all fitness levels can take part.

Advance registration or booking is not required. Passengers with authorised access to the designated area can attend at the scheduled times.

Timings for Free Classes at Dubai Airport

According to the official Dubai Airports schedule, sessions on November 7 and 8 will be held as follows:

·        18:00 to 18:20: Yoga class
·        18:30 to 18:50: Breathing exercises
·        19:00 to 19:20: Yoga class
·        20:00 to 20:20: Breathing exercises
·        20:30 to 20:50: Yoga class

Each session lasts 20 minutes, and passengers can attend one based on their flight schedule.

The activities will take place in the D Gates area of Terminal 1 and are therefore available only to passengers with access to this part of the airport. Those without authorised access to the departures area cannot enter solely to attend the classes.

Complimentary refreshments for participants

In addition to the fitness activities, Pret A Manger is supporting the initiative by providing participants with complimentary snack and drink packs after each session.

However, Dubai Airports said the packs are subject to availability and are not guaranteed for all participants.

The initiative is part of the 10th Dubai Fitness Challenge, running from October 31 to November 29, 2026, which encourages residents and visitors to complete at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day for 30 days.

Through yoga and breathing sessions, Dubai Airports aims to give passengers an opportunity to take part in the challenge and use some of their pre-flight waiting time for physical activity and relaxation.
